About Table Column Copy

A small, focused tool for one annoying job: getting table data off a web page and into something useful.

Anyone who works with spreadsheets, reports or data knows the routine: find a table on a web page, try to select just the part you need, paste it somewhere and then fix what broke. Table Column Copy replaces that with a button. Hover over a header and click to copy the column; hover over a row to copy the row; or copy the whole table.

The extension is built around a few principles: it should do nothing until you ask, it should not slow a page down, and it should not collect your data. Its buttons appear only on hover, all processing happens locally, and its source code is public on GitHub.

It is maintained by an independent developer. Version 5.3 introduced a full Material 3 redesign of the popup, settings and welcome pages with light and dark themes.
