Which browsers does it work in?

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, from Chrome version 88. It is installed from the Chrome Web Store.

Is it free?

Yes. If you find it useful you can support development with an optional donation.

Does it collect or sell my data?

No. Copying, cleaning and formatting all happen in your browser. The only time data leaves your browser is if you turn on Google Sheets or Zapier and give it a URL. See the privacy policy.

Why does it need access to all websites?

To add its copy buttons to tables on whichever page you happen to be reading. It does not send page content anywhere on its own.

The copy buttons do not appear on a table.

The buttons show when you hover over a header cell or row. Some pages build their tables from div elements instead of real table elements, and those are not detected. Also check that the extension is switched on with the power button in the popup, and reload the page after installing.

My pasted data ended up in one cell.

Use the default Plain Text format when pasting into spreadsheets. CSV and JSON are intended for files and code.

Can I change the keyboard shortcuts?

Yes, at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
